Every brother and sister knows that prayer is a way by which we communicate with God. Therefore, apart from in the morning and evening, we also pray before and after meals, at gatherings, on the Sabbath, and so on. However, how exactly should we pray so that our prayers can be accepted by God and conform to His will? Each brother and sister should know it. In fact, the Lord Jesus has already told us the answer to this question. Let us seek this aspect of the truth together.

First: Have a Heart of Humility, Stick to Our Position and Do Not Be self-righteous When Praying

God’s Judgment Work in the Last Days Realizes and Fulfills the Prophecies of the Bible

What is most predicted within the Scriptures is God’s work of judgment and chastisement in the last days. The Scriptures mention God enacting judgment in at least two hundred places; one can say they all predicted that God will carry out His work of judgment and chastisement in the last days. Hereto using just a small portion of the scriptures is enough to prove that God enacting His work of judgment and chastisement is an inevitable step of His last days work. God’s last days work is to use the method of judgment and chastisement to purify, save and perfect mankind; it is the work of classifying each person according to their own kind through judgment and chastisement to finish the age and finally build the kingdom of Christ–God’s beloved kingdom. This is the crystallization of God’s three-stage work of saving mankind and a glorious symbol of His triumph over Satan. Thus, everywhere in the Scriptures we can see writing of prophecies of God’s judgment work in the last days. If someone reads the Scriptures for many years and from start to finish fails to see God’s work of judgment and chastisement that is necessary in His last days work, then that is someone who does not understand the Scriptures in the slightest; it is certainly not a person who knows the work of God. Regarding a Normal Spiritual Life

Faith in God necessitates a normal spiritual life, which is the foundation for experiencing God’s words and entering into reality. Does all your current practice of prayers, of drawing near to God, of hymn-singing, praise, meditation, and pondering the words of God amount to a “normal spiritual life”? None of you seems to know. A normal spiritual life is not limited to such practices as praying, singing hymns, participating in church life, and eating and drinking of God’s words. Rather, it involves living a new and vibrant spiritual life. What matters is not how you practice, but what fruit your practice bears. Most people believe that a normal spiritual life necessarily involves praying, singing hymns, eating and drinking the words of God or pondering His words, regardless of whether such practices actually have any effect or lead to true understanding. These people focus on following superficial procedures without any thought to their results; they are people who live in religious rituals, not people who live within the church, and much less are they people of the kingdom. Their prayers, hymn singing, and eating and drinking of God’s words are all just rule-following, done out of compulsion and to keep up with trends, not out of willingness nor from the heart. The Lord promised us that “I come quickly.” To welcome the second coming of Jesus Christ is the greatest hope of every believer in the Lord. We have seen the desolation of the churches in the last days and the disasters springing up all over the world. The prophecies of the second coming of Jesus Christ have basically been fulfilled. How should wise virgins welcome the Lord? The Lord said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). What Else Should We Do in Disasters

Various disasters have recently occurred, Amidst the frequent occurrence of these disasters, the first thing many people think of is to pray to God and ask God to protect us from these disasters. Then in disaster, besides praying to God and asking for God’s protection, what else should we do?

We all know that in the predictions of the sign of His coming in the last days, the Lord Jesus said, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Mat 24:6-8). And all the present signs indicate that the prophecy of the Lord’s return has basically been fulfilled and the Lord has returned. Thus, whether we can be raptured before the great disaster becomes a crucial event! God Does Judgment Work There are at least over 200 verses mentioning that God will come to do judgment work in the last days, such as: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17). “And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people” (Isaiah 2:4). “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come” (Revelation 14:7). Then, how will the Lord do judgment work at His return?
