Every brother and sister knows that prayer is a way by which we communicate with God. Therefore, apart from in the morning and evening, we also pray before and after meals, at gatherings, on the Sabbath, and so on. However, how exactly should we pray so that our prayers can be accepted by God and conform to His will? Each brother and sister should know it. In fact, the Lord Jesus has already told us the answer to this question. Let us seek this aspect of the truth together.
First: Have a Heart of Humility, Stick to Our Position and Do Not Be self-righteous When Praying
Luke 18:9-14 says: “And he spoke this parable to certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. There are at least over 200 verses mentioning that God will come to do judgment work in the last days, such as: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17). “And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people” (Isaiah 2:4). “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come” (Revelation 14:7). Then, how will the Lord do judgment work at His return?
