Is the Idea That We Who Are Saved by Faith Can Enter the Heavenly Kingdom in Line With the Lord Jesus’ Words?

Question 1: The Bible says, “For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation” (Rom 10:10). We have already been saved through our faith in Jesus. Once we’re saved, we’re eternally saved. When the Lord arrives we will definitely be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Bible says

Answer: “Once we’re saved, we’re forever saved and can enter the kingdom of heaven,” this is just man’s conception and imagining. This is not at all in accordance with God’s words. The Lord Jesus never said that people could enter the kingdom of heaven just by being saved through faith. The Lord Jesus said that only those who do the heavenly Father’s will can enter the kingdom of heaven. Only the Lord Jesus’ words have authority and are the truth. Men’s conceptions and imaginations are not the truth. They are not the standards by which one can enter the kingdom of heaven. Continue reading

What Is the “Hidden Manna” in the Book of Revelation?

By Li Lan

The word “manna,” I believe, is familiar to every brother and sister in the Lord, as it is recorded in the Old Testament that, after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, they stayed in the wilderness for forty years, during which time God sent manna from heaven to feed them every day. At that time, the manna bestowed by God was the material food, which the Israelites needed most to survive in those days.

It’s recorded in the Bible: “To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna” (Revelation 2:17). Here it mentions “hidden manna.” Then what does the “hidden manna” refer to? Let’s look at several passages of scriptures.

Hidden Manna

And He humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that He might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Jehovah does man live” (Deuteronomy 8:3). The Mystery of Resurrection of the Dead

By Li ChengToday I will fellowship the truth of resurrection from the dead with you. Let us read the Bible first. Ezekiel 37:5-6 records, “Thus said the Lord Jehovah to these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live: And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am Jehovah.” The Lord Jesus said, “And this is the Father’s will which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day” (John 6:39). And 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” There are many other verses in the Bible about resurrection from the dead, yet here we won’t study them one by one. Chinese Christian Song “God’s Words Are the Forever Unchanging Truth” (English Subtitles)

God’s Words Are the Forever Unchanging Truth

God’s words are the forever unchanging truth. God is the supply of life for man
and the only guide for mankind.
The worth and meaning of God’s words
are not determined by whether they are recognized or accepted by mankind,
but by the substance of the words themselves.
Even if not a single person on this earth can receive God’s words,
the value of His words and their help to mankind
are inestimable to any man.

After Waiting for the Second Coming of the Lord for Over 50 Years, My Wish Finally Comes True

By Chang Jie

Editor’s Note: She’d believed in the Lord for over 50 years and, for all that time, she believed that the Lord Jesus was the one and only Redeemer of mankind, and she looked forward to the Lord returning to receive her up into the kingdom of heaven. When someone preached to her that the Lord had returned and was performing a new work, she couldn’t accept it and believed that to accept this new work would be to betray the Lord. But was she right to believe this? This article, “After More Than 50 Years, I Live to Witness the Lord’s Return,” will give you the answer.

I Begin Believing in the Lord at a Young Age and I Long for His Return for Over 50 Years

I was a Catholic and my family had believed in the Lord for generations. When I was 15 or 16, I began going to church to attend Mass and to take the sacramental bread. Back then, the priest would say to us in his sermons, “The Lord Jesus we trust in is our one and only Savior and He was crucified to redeem us. Continue reading

In What Way Will the Lord Jesus Come Again?

Lord Jesus Come Again

After the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, all those who truly believe in the Lord have looked forward to the second coming of the Lord. Especially we who are born in the last days are even more eager to yearn for the Lord to take us into the kingdom of heaven. But do we know how the Lord will appear to us in His second coming?

Some people say: “The Lord will surely come upon clouds with great power and glory when He returns because the Bible prophesied: ‘Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him’ (Revelation 1:7).” But other people say: “In addition to this, there are also prophecies in the Bible about the Lord’s coming in secret, like a thief. For example, ‘Behold, I come as a thief’ (Revelation 16:15). ‘And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him’ (Matthew 25:6). Continue reading

Why Are There So Many Denominations in Christianity?

When the Lord Jesus came to earth to do His work in person, all those who believed in Him came under His name. The apostles spread the gospel everywhere, and connected together all the brothers and sisters who had accepted the salvation of the Lord Jesus and come under His name, uniting them into one in Christ. They only followed Jesus Christ. Just as the scriptures read, “One Lord, one faith, one baptism. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:5–6). Therefore, there weren’t different denominations in the age of apostles.

Denominations in Christianity

The last days have arrived. The followers of the Lord all have faith in the same God, read the same Bible, and keep the Lord’s teachings. However, more than two thousand different denominations have come into being, and each of them holds onto the tenet: Our denomination is the most orthodox in the world. So there appears a situation where they all became kings of their own castles, formed cliques and sticked to their own views, and no one would defer to anyone else. This makes lots of devout believers in the Lord confused: All those who are in the name of the Lord Jesus look up to His salvation of the cross, receive baptism, break bread, practice being humble and patient, and to forbear and love others, and walk the way opened up by the Lord Jesus. So why do so many denominations arise? Why is this so?

Discussing Church Life and Real Life

Church Life and Real Life
People feel that they are only able to transform during their church life, and that transformation is not possible outside of church life, that they are unable to achieve transformation in their real life. Can you recognize what the issue is? I used to talk about bringing God into real life, and this is the path for those believing in God to enter into the reality of God’s words. In fact, church life is only a limited way to perfect men. The primary environment for perfecting men remains to be real life. This is the actual practice and actual training that I talked about, which allows men to achieve a life of normal humanity and to live out the likeness of a real man during everyday life. One must first learn to be cultured in order to elevate his own cultural quality, to be able to understand God’s words, to have the capability to understand. On the other hand, one must be equipped with the basic knowledge required to live as a man, so as to achieve the insight and sense of normal humanity, because men have almost none in regard to these areas. Furthermore, one must also come to savor God’s words through church life, and gradually come to have a clear understanding of the truth. Continue reading

Know How to Fear God From 3 Chief Manifestations of Job’s Fear of God

By Zhou Ming

At the mention of “fearing God,” most Christians will think of the story of Job recorded in the Bible. Job feared God and shunned evil, stood witness for God in trials, and so obtained God’s praise and blessings. He lived a valuable and meaningful life, which is enviable. Today, let’s reread the Book of Job and carefully count the manifestations of Job’s fear of God, so that we can have some new knowledge of and entry into the truth of revering God.

Job’s Fear of God

1. With a heart of reverence for God, Job never did anything in his life that offended God.

It is recorded in the Book of Job 1:5, “And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.” Continue reading

It Will Be Too Late If We Believe Only After Seeing the Lord Descend on a Cloud!

Lord Descend on a Cloud2000 years ago, the Lord Jesus told His disciples the signs of His return in the last days, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:7-8).

2000 years later, disasters now around the world are getting worse. The signs of the Lord’s return have appeared. Some people preach that the Lord has become flesh and come back. However, many believers think that the Lord should come with the clouds, and or else, they refuse to accept. In fact, there are two kinds of prophecies in the Bible, one is God becoming flesh and coming in secret, and the other is the Lord descending upon clouds and appearing to all in public. God first becomes flesh and comes secretly to express the truth to do the work of judging and cleansing man. Continue reading
