To understand what it means to be raptured before the disasters, let’s first talk about what rapture is. God’s word says: “‘Being caught up’ is not being taken from a low place to a high place as people imagine. This is a huge mistake. Being caught up is referring to My predestining and selecting. It is targeted at all those I have predestined and chosen. Those who have gained the status of firstborn son, the status of sons, or people, are all those who have been caught up. This is most incompatible with people’s notions. Those who have a share in My house in the future are all people who have been caught up before Me. This is absolutely true, never-changing, and cannot be refuted by anybody. This is the counterattack against Satan. Anyone I predestined shall be caught up before Me.” Now, we can understand that rapture does not mean being caught up in the air to meet the Lord as we have imagined, but means that when God comes to earth to work and people hear His voice, they can recognize Him, accept and obey His new work, and come before Him. Peace to you in the Lord! Today, our topic of fellowship is “the three problems we must resolve in prayer.” May the Lord guide our fellowship. We brothers and sisters all know that prayer is the path for establishing a normal relationship with God. It’s just as important as breathing. We all hope that our prayers are heard and accepted, but today many brothers and sisters are troubled by the fact that their prayers aren’t heard and accepted. So, how should we pray according to God’s will, and what problems must we resolve in our prayers so that the Lord hears them?
Answer: In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus did the work of redemption. It was not God’s work of judgment in the last days to thoroughly save mankind. What the work of redemption achieved was that the Lord Jesus served as the sin offering for us all, and that He redeemed us from the clutches of Satan, made us repent our sins, and accept God’s salvation. He qualified us to go before God and enjoy God’s grace and blessing. That was the real significance of the work of redemption. But many people don’t understand. They always think the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption granted complete salvation to all mankind, and allowed us entry into the kingdom of heaven. That notion comes entirely from man’s imagination. At daybreak, Hui’en got up. As usual, she prayed to the Lord and then began to read her Bible. She turned to Luke 19:1-10, “And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at your house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said to him, This day is salvation come to this house, as much as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
I was born in a Christian family, and my grandparents and uncles are all Christians. When I was fourteen, my parents also came to the Lord after having seen His great power. From then on, whatever difficulties I had, I would pray to the Lord Jesus and thus got a taste of His grace and protection. As time went by, many people in my hometown started to illegally enter other countries in order to earn money and escape the life of poverty. I joined them at the age of eighteen. But unlike them, I always had the presence of the Lord wherever I went. On the way, some of my fellow townsmen suffered many setbacks, and some even died halfway. I, however, took the plane all the way to the United States and arrived there safely. At that time, I believed that no matter how great the difficulties ahead, I would be able to get through them easily with the help of the Lord.
Gospel Movie “Come Out of the Bible” | Can We Welcome the Lord’s Return by Holding Onto the Bible?
Wang Yue was a preacher at a house church in China. With her whole heart and soul, she preached and shepherded the church for the Lord. But when her church grew more and more empty, she burned with anxiety but was unable to do anything about it. Lost in suffering and bewilderment, she fortunately came to accept Almighty God’s kingdom gospel. As she enjoyed the bountiful supply of God’s word, she was deeply aware of the vastness of God’s salvation. This made the misery and helplessness of losing God’s provision and falling into darkness all the more real to her. Continue reading →
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3).
God says, “The return of Jesus is a great salvation for those who are capable of accepting the truth, but for those who are unable to accept the truth it is a sign of condemnation. You should choose your own path, and should not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and reject the truth. You should not be an ignorant and arrogant person, but someone who obeys the guidance of the Holy Spirit and longs for and seeks the truth; only in this way will you benefit. I advise you to tread the path of belief in God with care. Continue reading →
It was six o’clock in the morning, I made a prayer with a pure heart to entrust my spiritual devotion time to God and also yearned for His enlightenment. I opened the Bible on the table and read Job 1:6-11, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, and Satan came also among them. And Jehovah said to Satan, From where come you? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, Does Job fear God for nothing? Have not You made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. But put forth Your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.”
